I know that the alliance between therapist and client is the most important factor to positive therapeutic outcomes and I hope to be the therapist that is a good fit for you. I provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where you will be able to explore the issues holding you back.
I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2008. I have years of experience helping clients cope with and manage depression and anxiety. My specialty of helping with grief, loss and chronic illness come from my many years working in the home health and hospice field. I utilize EMDR, Lifespan Integration and IFS to help clients heal from trauma.
I am fluent in the Spanish language and can offer counseling services in Spanish. I have lived in Spain for a year and a half, and have spent time studying abroad in Mexico. These experiences have given me a love and appreciation for cultural diversity and acceptance.
I find peace and joy spending time in nature and exploring this beautiful world by traveling to new and unknown places. I love music and singing, and I enjoy many outdoor activities, especially swimming and biking. I am happily married and love spending time with my husband and five daughters.
I would be honored to accompany you on your journey of finding your way of joyful living, a life that brings you peace and satisfaction.
